Relatives are great. Here are a few of mine, from Detroit.

Relatives are great. Here are a few of mine, from Detroit.

I’m borrowing this photo from my friend, Chica Chic. I don’t know where she got it, but it’s too funny to keep to myself.

Today is my birthday. Happy birthday to me!
Not to be outdone, my nephew also started school this month: first grade. Below is his school photo from kindergarten.

This is my niece, who starts fourth grade this month. I remember, vividly, the night she was born. Time flies when you’re having fun.

I’m currently reading “Getting Things Done” with the hope that it will accomplish what the title promises. I’ve heard, from others who have read the book and incorporated the Hipster PDA organization system, that this has increased their productivity quite a bit.
Right now, I need all the help I can get.
My friend Chica Chic’s Baby Girl started school today. Doesn’t she look cute?

Though my birthday is this Friday, I’ve decided not to do anything to celebrate it. Because of my recent bout of back issues, pain etc., I’m going to wait until next month when I’m feeling better.
I’ll post that later.
One of the drawbacks of being on this Valium/Vicodin combination my doctor prescribed is that I sleep so much during the day that I don’t really feel sleepy at night. It’s near 4 a.m. and what am I doing? Watching Roseanne reruns on Nick at Nite and catching up on my Bloglines RSS feeds.
