And I’m still on the lookout.
One of the interesting things about living in Houston is that if we get more than 30 minutes of rain, it floods somewhere. Of course, when we get 10 inches in a matter of hours, the entire city comes to a standstill.
On Monday, Pasadena became an island. There was no way out of the city, no way even out of my apartment complex. It was very eerily similar to Tropical Storm Allison five years ago.
Of course, I didn’t go into work. I’m not that silly. Thanks to modern technology, I worked from home. I stayed very busy.
Anyway, how did you spend rain day?
We just got back from this wonderful trip to San Antonio. We visited Sea World, under the guise of celebrating Jessica’s birthday, and I have not one single photo. No photos at all.
That’s just wrong.
I’m going to start pricing cameras. Maybe I’ll buy myself one for my birthday.
