I just went to see The X-Files movie. I read the reviews, and I’d seen the commercials, so I knew not to expect anything grand. But I really was disappointed at both the scope and the overall storyline. When you compare it to the only other movie, it lacks quite a bit.

And I’m not just talking about special effects or the ET storyline. The relationship between the characters seemed so contrived in this movie, that I found myself missing the early days of the show.
