It’s snowing in Houston! Yes, we got snow. I think we actually go an inch of snow, or something or like that.
Pictured here is the snowman that Ashlee & Kevin built while out having fun in the snow. It probably won’t last the night, but it was fun to build.
Anyway, I don’t know how much longer it’s going to snow, but I’m sharing the joy.
This is my idea of shopping.
My friend Ed took this photo. It’s a wonderful photo of Fall, which we will only see via photos in Houston.
Another great photo from another great photographer. My old boss Susan took this in her new life in San Francisco. Isn’t it a great shot?
Proof that my friends are much more interesting than I am. See Katie & Tiffany (middle & right) in the last Dr. Sketchy event. Which, of course, I missed.
This is a great shot of the flooding near my office, after Hurricane Ike. It’s a great use of color, and a wonderful visual representation of what happened to the city after the Hurricane.
This photo is from the Library of Congress’ Flickr stream. It’s a nice stream to follow, if you’re a history geek like me.
Very cool pumpkin carved at St. Joseph County Public Library. I don’t know where that is, but it’s a cool pumpkin.
A friend of mine is talking me into signing up for bootcamp sessions. It means being at the bootcamp at 5 am at least three times a week. I’m having trouble wrapping my brain around that idea, mostly because I’m not a morning person. I am absolutely not a morning person.
I know that I need to start exercising. I’ve been promising myself to do it for a while, but keep putting it off. But it’s time to get with it.
Wish me luck.
Taken by my friend Ed, this is a great example that you can create art from almost anything.
